Former Hawkeye Trey Stross Arrested in Iowa CityPosted: May 16, 2011
Former Iowa wide receiver Trey Stross was arrested for disorderly conduct on May 14 in Iowa City, according to the Iowa City Police Blotter.
The blotter states that the former Hawkeye was arrested at 118 S. Clinton Street, which is the address of the bar, Pints. No other details are known at this time.
KCJJ, a local radio station is Coralville, Iowa, is reporting that Stross was booked at 2:56 a.m. on May 14 and released at 10:30a.m. on the same day. Disorderly Conduct is a simple misdemeanor carrying up to 30 days in jail and a $500 fine.
Stross caught 73 passes for 964 yards and seven touchdowns over his four year Hawkeye career (2006-2009). He also was a member of the Iowa Track & Field team.
